2024 MARQUETTE MARATHON

The Marquette Marathon, Half Marathon, and Wildcat 5K are destination races run through the beauty of Marquette County.
​
You'll be greeted in Marquette with a stunningly beautiful downhill course, sweet shirts, and quality finisher medals.
​
For 2024, the Marquette Marathon, Half Marathon, and Wildcat 5K will be held on Saturday, August 31st, with the race EXPO and kids run being held on August 30th.
​
The Marquette Marathon runs on a downhill/certified course that is an official Boston Marathon qualifier.
SUPERIOR DOME

For 2024, the Superior Dome will host our EXPO and finish lines for all of our races.
​
The Superior Dome, which opened as the "world’s largest wooden dome" on September 14, 1991, is a domed stadium on the campus of Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan. It is home to the Northern Michigan University football team as well as its marching band and a variety of other campus and community events.
