2025 MARQUETTE MARATHON

The Marquette Marathon, Half Marathon, and Wildcat 5K are destination races run through the beauty of Marquette County.
​
You'll be greeted in Marquette with a stunningly beautiful downhill course, sweet shirts, and quality finisher medals.
​
For 2025, the Marquette Marathon, Half Marathon, Marathon Relay and Wildcat 5K will be held on Saturday, August 30th, with the race EXPO and kids run being held on August 29th.
​
The Marquette Marathon runs on a downhill/certified course that is an official Boston Marathon qualifier.
SUPERIOR DOME

For 2025, the Superior Dome will host our EXPO and finish lines for all of our races.
​
The Superior Dome, which opened as the "world’s largest wooden dome" on September 14, 1991, is a domed stadium on the campus of Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan. It is home to the Northern Michigan University football team as well as its marching band and a variety of other campus and community events.
